Creamy Cauliflower Cheese
This is the best cauliflower cheese you will ever taste! Thick creamy cheesy yumminess on a plate!

This creamy cauliflower cheese is the BEST cauliflower cheese you will ever taste! Super rich and creamy cheese sauce without any flours or thickening agents, just cream and CHEESE!

Ingredients
- 1 tsp butter
- 600 ml double cream
- 200 grams cheese any cheese you like, grated
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 1 pinch salt & white pepper
- 1 good pinch paprika (optional)
- 1 large cauliflower leaves stripped and broken into pieces
Instructions
- Cook the cauliflower by steaming or boiling in a pan of water until just cooked, then drain and set aside
- Preheat the oven to 200°c (fan)
- Add the butter to a hot pan to melt
- Pour in the double cream and sprinkle in the grated cheese gradually (reserving some for sprinkling over the dish before baking), stirring continuously
- Add the mustard powder, salt, pepper and paprika if using
- Once the cheese has melted into the cream creating a cheese sauce, remove from the heat
- Place the cauliflower in a baking dish. Pour over the cheese sauce and top with more grated cheese
- Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until the top is bubbling and golden
