Instructions
add optional flavourings (slice of orange/clementine, cinnamon stick, nutmeg, cloves) to a heatproof glass or mug
pour over hot water from a recently boiled kettle
add Vimto or Ribena to your taste and stir. Drink whilst warm!
Notes
If you cannot find the Winter Warmer Vimto or Winter Spice Ribena in shops, you can substitute this with no added sugar blackcurrant and use the optional flavourings to help achieve the mulled wine spice taste by seeping in the ingredients and bringing to a boil and then simmer in a pan so that flavours infuse more.Please note: avoid hi-juice diluting squashes which tends to have a higher carb content due to being made with more fruit. Check the nutritional information label and opt for diluting squash which has no added sugar and total carbs of below 0.05g carbs per 100ml
