After launching my Millionaire’s Shortbread, Banoffee Pie and Caramel Slice, lots of my members have been adding my sugar free caramel to my GD brownies and so I thought I’d make some for myself and share what I did so that you can enjoy these GD Salted Caramel Brownies too!
Choose a brownie recipe to follow from one of the four choices above, then when it gets to the point where you would place the brownies in the oven, make your caramel.
Please note, you will only need 1/4 of the caramel recipe for enough to drizzle on top. You can however, make half the recipe and also swirl some into the brownie batter for extra sweetness or save some for eating with the brownies later – the caramel is self-paired!
- 1 pan GD Brownies (recipes in links above)
- ¼ pan GD Caramel (recipes in links above)
- Before placing the brownies in the oven, drizzle spoonfuls of the GD caramel sauce over the top of the brownie batter. RESERVING some for when the brownies come out of the oven!
- Once the brownies are cooked and cooled, you will notice lots of the caramel will bake into the top of the brownies and leave grooves. Fill the larger grooves with more caramel to add to the gooeyness! And sprinkle with sea salt flakes
